01 / The problem

A supply chain built on paper.

In many Nigerian hospitals, the pharmacy is the heart of the facility, yet it remains the most opaque. Procurement still relies heavily on manual ledgers and phone calls to fragmented distributors. When a critical drug is depleted, the discovery often happens at the point of care, leaving family members to scour the city for medicine while patients wait.

This is a clinical risk, not just a logistics problem. Delayed access to insulin, anti-hypertensives, or post-operative antibiotics leads to worsened outcomes and extended hospital stays. Without real-time data, hospitals over-buy unnecessary stock while missing life-saving essentials.

Marvibe was founded in Abuja to move health systems from reactive crisis management to proactive supply chain intelligence. We believe no patient should be told "out of stock" for a predictable need.

02 / On the ground

Built for the reality of care in Nigeria.

Before we wrote a single line of code, we spent months inside pharmacies, wards, and dispensaries across Abuja. These are the moments that shaped Marvibe.

Pharmacy shelves stocked with labelled bottles and boxes
The pharmacy

Ledgers on clipboards. Boxes double-stacked on top shelves. Expiry dates handwritten in biro. Most Nigerian hospital pharmacies run on memory and goodwill. Neither scales.

The prescription

When a medicine isn't on the shelf, the prescription is rewritten, or the patient is sent to look for it. The clinical plan bends around what's available, not around what the patient needs.

The ward

The pharmacist finds out they're low on antibiotics when the ward calls for them. By then, the patient has already been waiting. Marvibe gives pharmacies 48+ hours of warning, before it becomes a clinical problem.

03 / The approach

Inventory visibility, end to end.

01

Connect

We integrate directly with your existing Pharmacy Management Systems or HIS. No rip-and-replace, just a smarter layer of visibility on top of your current workflow.

02

Track

Gain real-time visibility across every facility and ward. Know exactly what you have, where it is, and its expiration date from a single dashboard.

03

Predict

Our AI-powered engine analyzes consumption patterns to generate restocking recommendations before inventories reach critical levels.

04

Coordinate

Enable multi-facility supply sharing. If one branch is low while another has excess, Marvibe facilitates the internal transfer to prevent stockouts.

Marvibe has completely transformed how we manage our critical supplies at Garki Hospital. For the first time, I can see exactly what our burn rate is for antibiotics and prepare our orders two weeks in advance. It has given us back control over our pharmacy.
